Perspective taking scenarios

Appropriate Population: 

  • School-age (12 years and up)
  • Mild delay or age-appropriate cognitive and language abilities

 

Goal:  Perspective Taking

           Identifying others’ emotions

 

Steps:

  1. Work through each scenario card by identifying 3x perspectives of both the characters on the card.
  2. You can use these cards within a board game (pick up the card during your turn). 

 

Step up: 

  • Provide less support to your client when answering the questions. 

 

Step down:

  • Provide more support and scaffolding.
