Appropriate Population:
- 5 years and up
- Moderate or mild delay or age-appropriate cognitive, expressive and receptive language ability
Goal:
- Giving follow-up questions
- Giving information
Steps:
- Read out a comment– you can create your own or use the follow-up questions resource (target population 5-7 years old)
- The client needs to come up with 2 follow-up questions they would ask based on the given comment.
Step up:
- Take 5 conversational turns per comment
Step down:
- Come up with 1 follow-up question to ask
